Monday night’s metal detecting podcast started off with a bang like so many lately have. Almost every show as soon as we go live I’ve been losing a guest which is not fun when I’m trying to get the show started and introductions while in the background frantically trying to get out guest back on! Well this week was a little twist! As soon as we went live I had a number calling in. I figured I dropped one of the guys so I answer it and I have Tony Mantia on the line before I even start my introductions which then made us all laugh but I would say for sure, that was where the show started to go off the rails! Haha
Dave and Todd did so well and both of them were a wealth of information and fun to have on the All Metal Mode Metal Detecting Podcast. Of course I talked entirely too much again (I know! It’s something I am working on) but I think it went well. It’s easy to have a game plan before the show but once you go live and you throw variables in like, callers, glitches and a chat room, I just seem to make some of the same mistakes when we go live.
Both detectorist answered some questions, put out some great information but I had a few questions for them and wanted to hear more stories that just didn’t happen. I only have myself to blame and I hope we have the opportunity to have these guys on again. I would really enjoy hearing more about their relic and coin hunts, how they got hooked up with Whites and how that’s going. I would like to talk more about Whites metal detectors with them as well.
With any luck we can get them back on to tell us how they set up their metal detectors. I know a handful of people who would really enjoy hearing about the MX sport settings, maybe they can give us some of our listeners a few pointers on different White’s metal detectors.
